The shipment of Chemicals is different from other goods.
Normally , in order to ship a chemical under the correct chemical name and declare the real value to the Customs , each chemical should be tested by offcial organizations like SRICI and DGM before it is exported .

If a chemical is classified as a dangerous chemical by the offcial organization , then DHL / UPS / FEDEX / TNT / EMS will all refuse to ship it , so we will have to ship it by air or by sea.
If a chemical is classified as a safe chemical by the offcial organization , then DHL / UPS / FEDEX / TNT / EMS will all be glad to ship it .

Sometimes , EMS can help Chinese companies skip the official tests and export small quantities of chemicals directly to other countries. However , that may increase the shipment risks and cause the delay at the customs.

Usually , the freight charges of EMS are lower than those of DHL / UPS / FEDEX / TNT , but it takes longer time.

Which shipment way should we choose , by courier ,by air or by sea ? That depends on the hazard class , the property , the quantity , the lead time and the package of the chemical.

When we import chemicals or other products from overseas countries , we would negotiate the shipment with overseas manufacturers and suppliers . We respect the shipment and package way that the overseas manufacturers and suppliers choose . In China , different sea ports and airports have different regulations about the package , label and shipment . We would also send the shipment instruction to the overseas manufacturers and suppliers before they load the goods on board.
